IG Blog (a very popular guitar blog ran by IG) seems to have been taken down… This has been one of my long time faviorite blogs! Does anyone out there have any knowledge of whether this is down for good, by accident or if it is being moved? I’m sure more than just myself is interested!

yeah, it went down last month. I have him as a friend on Facebook, and I asked him what happened. Here is his response, delivered on 10/29:
“Man, had to close it down. My priorities shifted so that I just was not getting the time to write and keep up with it. It was a hard decision, but I just didn’t want a dead blog out there, you know? So, yeah, there you have it. IG BLOG no more. But, hopefully I can stay in touch with folks like you who are here in Facebook, ya know. So, don’t hate me Paul!”
Life. It happens. I will miss the blog though…

Hopefully he still follows other guitar blogs. Apparently I was far behind. I normally was reading his blog (and all the other guitar blogs in a reader. I only would visit sites to link to them. Apparently, I should have visited more.

@IG, Thank you for the tips you’ve given me (and the community) and for the content on your blog. Your blog was a true gem-stone for the guitar blogging community. Perhaps one day, you’ll come back.
